Local Community Manager

Job description

  • Responsible for managing the entire merchant community process in the designated region; from merchants’ acquisition, onboarding and engagement through to managing the day-to-day relations with the local merchants community and responding to community feedback
  • Create and plan impactful panel benefit strategy for the merchant community in designated region
  • Plan, lead, and promote the execution of local merchants community branding events
  • Monitor the engagement levels of community channels and communication to optimise the programmes and campaigns for local merchant community
  • Track, analyse & communicate key retailer community metrics
  • Adapt quickly to product improvements and conduct product acceptance from a merchant’s perspective.

Requirements

  • Ideally 3 years of experience in local merchant community management including merchants acquisition/onboarding/engagement and events programming & execution
  • Execution experience in merchants acquisition and community management is beneficial
  • Retailer-centric with a keen interest in recent retailer trends
  • An understanding of marketing/brand activation is an added bonus
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong influencer personality
  • Proficiency in English & Bahasa Indonesia is essential to communicate with local merchants and the global team
  • Creative thinker and solution-oriented with an ability to thrive in an environment of constant change
  • Willingness and ability to travel
